I designed this webshop for Euvitis on behalf of Oranje Vormgevers. There is a main website and there are 4 websites linked to it; this is the 'Puur' concept, focusing on specific sorts of wine like 'Chardonnay', 'Merlot', 'Riesling' and 'Pinot Noir'.
The wine can be selected by country or taste and of course there a lot of information to be found about the specific wines.

I designed this Executive Report on behalf of Oranje Vormgevers. The report is paperbound. The cover is made of 2mm greyboard, with a blue metallic foil stamp of the title on the front. The foil relates to one of the materials that is used a lot by Holst Centre. The inside work is left 'unfinished', to point out the binding structure. The idea was to create a feeling that strengtens the working process of Holst Centre, which is research and development, instead of delivering 'finished' products.
Holst Centre is an independent open-innovation R&D centre that develops generic technologiesfor Wireless Autonomous Sensor Technologies and for Flexible electronics.

I designed this Executive Report for Holst Centre on behalf of Oranje Vormgevers. The cover was printed on special paper, called 'Skin'. That's what it feels like. A soft gentle touch. It was insprired by the fact that Holst Centre develops technology that interacts with the humun body. The title was embossed to symbolise growth and emphasize the meaning of 'For the record'... I used 2 sorts of paper to be printed on, to make a difference between the 'first part' (A-Z) and the last part (About Holst).

I designed this Executive Report for Holst Centre on behalf of Oranje Vormgevers, my current employer. The ER can be read from both sides. To point out the difference between flexible electronics and non-flexible electronics, I made the illustrations on the two covers. Also the fly-leaves illustrate these two aspacts. The covers are silk-screen printed.

Special about this version, is the fact that the cover is made of lighter paper than the inside paper.

I designed this cover on behalf of Oranje Vormgevers, my current employer.
Aim was to design a cover that stands out, not only because of the color and typography, but also because of the atmosphere of the cover image: no food displayed, but an image that captures the 'Italian feeling', accompanied by only subtle illustrations of kitchen equipment.

I designed these two brochures on behalf of Oranje Vormgevers, my current employer.
Our client, DELTA (Nederland B.V.) is specialised in light control and heat control.
The most recent one (the one starting with) was made wit a Pantone Yellow and Black on one side, and CMYK with a subtle matte yellow foil on the other side. The text placed in an angle, is to emphasize the character of the new 'Nano' system, in which the angle of placement of the system parts is essential for the amount of light coming in.
The second one is made with a Pantone yellow and Silver on one side and CMYK on the other side.

Creative typography experiment in an illustrative way.Graphic Design, Typography2012 -
Several typographic experiments, varying in style and atmosphere. For the poster 'Stay Hungry – Stay Foolish', I was inspired by Steve Jobs' speech at the Stanford University in 2005 (the work is about complexity and 'connecting the dots'):
“YOU CAN'T CONNECT THE DOTS LOOKING FORWARD; YOU CAN ONLY CONNECT THEM LOOKING BACKWARDS. SO YOU HAVE TO TRUST THAT THE DOTS WILL SOMEHOW CONNECT IN YOUR FUTURE."
Very true!Typography, Graphic Design2012 -
I spent a lot of hours designing this typeface, which I call 'Illustrato'. Every letter and number is unique, there are only 'returing' shapes to create cohesion. So I tried something new, experimenting in a new style, with different shapes and colours.
End of December 2011, this project got the attention of the Behance curator team (from Behance.net) and was featured in the Behance Gallery. It brought me a lot of great and positive feedback, and it also got featured on several sites and blogs throughout the world.Typography, Graphic Design2011 -
