Illustrato - typeface

I spent a lot of hours designing this typeface, which I call 'Illustrato'. Every letter and number is unique, there are only 'returing' shapes to create cohesion. So I tried something new, experimenting in a new style, with different shapes and colours. End of December 2011, this project got the attention of the Behance curator team (from Behance.net) and was featured in the Behance Gallery. It brought me a lot of great and positive feedback, and it also got featured on several sites and blogs throughout the world.
